I’ve been writing since I can remember, whether it be in a daily journal, which I’ve maintained since the age of nine, or for professional publications. After becoming a mom, writing became an undeniable calling and I’ve now made it my business to use words to express lessons on life and tell stories that resonate with readers. I’ve written for newspapers, local magazines and national online publications.

I currently write the calendar sections for Sacramento Parent magazine each month, as well as freelance articles for the publication on a regular basis. Prior to this contract writing position, I served as publisher and editor of a local online publication, Macaroni Kid. In May of 2016, I decided to resign from this much appreciated position to pursue a full-time writing career. I now focus on freelance work, blogging and my “baby,” a picture book for the Christian market.

Here are a just few writing samples for your review. More can be obtained.
